Events at the Salad Bowl Garden

There are a few events that happen regularly at the garden and we open the space up to the greater community for events to be hosted. For example, graduate groups have held planting events at the garden in the past.
- Salad bowl lunches:
Come join us on a salad bowl lunch! Bring your own bowl or plate and we
will have salt and pepper, olive oil, and a cleaning station for you to
put together your very own salad!
- Planting Days:
If you want to learn about gardening or lend a hand join us for a few
hours out in the garden. We often plant, harvest, and pull out crops
during this time. You can learn about when these are happening by
joining our e-mail list or checking out the blackboard in the garden!
- Spring Celebration: We host a spring celebration to get to know all of the gardeners and enjoy some good music out in the garden. It’s a potluck event where the new garden managers each year are introduced! Be sure to come out and bring your homemade salad dressing for the salad dressing competition.
